Everything arrived at the same time.

Le-Anne kept us up to date as to what was happening with Rebecca and then around 10.00 pm last night both cars pulled into the drive way. It had been a big drive from the south east but apart from being a bit tired Rebecca and the kids were fine.

then in the middle of everything Janette rang to see if we have power we did she didn't so I did suggest she come out here for the night - she declined but the offer was there.

also Carol rang to say that they had sold their house, lots of 8's in the final price. The people once they had signed the papers jumped on a plane for Hong Kong and most likely wont be back for 12 months. Carol is quite excited but she thinks Geoff is a bit stunned. Good on them is what i say. its time for a change.

Rebecca, Kate and Luke coming today

This is the first trip Rebecca has made over to visit us since she was a little girl. Should be fun and we're all looking forward to it. I should be able to add some photos after the visit.

Its been raining

What excitement yesterday! A massive big black cloud was travelling up from the south and then bang, the heavens opened. I'm not sure how much rain we had but it certainly looked good. Alan and Le-Anne were outside taking photos of the amount of water that was coming from the house. Check out the photo.

Much better today

Had a good night last night Trin and I just basically veged out on the lounge in the kitchen. Battened down the hatches just in case the high winds came again. But they didn't. We all slept well - including the dog.

Horrible cramp in my leg

Oh it was so bad, I could hardly breath let alone walk, couldn't do anything. Anyway after about ten minutes it started to subside and today its fine.

Brent came and stayed. he seems such a nice young bloke. He's worked Le-Anne out - as long as she wins she's happy. How true.

Alan has had quite a successful time so far on his trip up into nsw. Yesterday he went to Shepparton and then stay at Albury. Today he is off to Wagga and Griffith.

He also rang last night which was nice.

Alan and I went down to the Cove for dinner. We had a nice meal and were leaving around 6.15.

As I walked to the car I noticed that a man was walking quite quickly towards our car. As i got into the car I tried to lock the doors quickly but didn't make it the bloke opened the bloody door! This gave me a bit of a jolt but as Alan was in the passengers seat i wasn't that worried.

Anyway he told me he had been waiting for 2 hours for a taxi and offered me $50.00 to drive him home. I said no but he continued to ask questions and persisted in offering the $50.00 I also told him to go back into the hotel and ring another taxi.

Description:

he would have been mid to late 30's
light brown to blondish hair with a slight curl. His hair was about a college cut length. He also had a baby kind of face and was softly spoken. Still not nice and it did unsettle me.

Something was wrong

I felt miserable and I was miserable.

My back started to hurt a bit on Monday and then on Tuesday morning at precisely 2.10 am there was one almighty crash and what had happened was the remainder of the garage ceiling crashed down! i think I jumped out of bed so quickly that it finished my back.

I'll add some photos of what the garage looks like shortly.

I spent most of Tuesday either standing up or lying down. I managed to get an appointment at the physio on Wednesday and attended at 10.10 yesterday morning. I felt absolutely wonderful when she had finished although she said not to sit for long periods of time.

So here I am back at work today and I'm not that sure that I'll manage to stay the full day but I'll see how I go.
